Mŏk_pang_ is the name coined for artist duo Alek Sarna and Tommy Otonoke,  started in late 2019 even though their previous work goes back many years. The title refers to a worldwide viral online trend of audiovisual broadcast, in which a hosts binge-eats large quantities of food while interacting with an audience creating an accommodating atmosphere. It grew in popularity because it's a stark contrast to societal and gender norms, as well as food etiquette.

Their collaborative project is a platform for exploration of live performative multi-dimensional universes based at intersection of music, art and technology. Collective incorporates sound, real-time virtual renders and scenography in their performances in a  desire to transcend the material limitations. They are using storytelling, poetics, and ritual to author new narratives. They are world-makers, inviting to access altered states of consciousness to step beyond reality into series of highly authored, staged environments.

This project is as well a place for free artistic expression and collective interaction in an age of digital isolation.
